Think vacuuming your carpet gets it clean? Think again!
Even the best vacuum cleaner collects only a fraction of the dust, dirt and other allergens in your carpet, (including pet dander and dust mites).
Dust mites?
You bet!
There are billions of tiny insects that thrive on the stuff your vacuum cleaner can't get out. Ask any pro, and they'll tell you that the only way to rid your carpet of these pests is high pressure steam cleaning.
By cleaning your chimney, we will remove creosote in order to ensure the safe operation of your chimney, as well as prevent deterioration. Dr. Air Duct uses a guaranteed “no mess” cleaning method, showing that we not only care about your service but also your home. First we place our large area covering tarp onto the floor in front of the fireplace, covering all walkable areas, especially carpet! The chimney is then cleaned from the bottom up to the chimney cap. We use our specialized tools to clean the firebox, the smoke chamber, the damper, the smoke shelf, (located behind the damper), and the flue liner. This process can take anywhere from thirty minutes to an hour. However, we never rush the service! The cleanliness of your chimney is key! We recommend that you get your chimney done at the least once to twice a year, depending on your usage.
Dr. Air Duct's service includes consultation with the client to determine the cause of the problem. Every building's IAQ is unique because of construction, mechanical systems, maintenance history, and types of usage. Our goal is to improve the flow of healthy air by helping the client to assess and remediate the IAQ problem.
